Is there a program (or some other way) to print out both a move list and a diagram of the board at that point. I'm not thinking of wanting to print a game in progress here on chess.com. Basically I want to use it as a learning device.
I have Chessmaster 10 and Fritz 10 and you'd think I could do it with one of those, but if so I haven't figured out how. I don't really want to do a screen print...
just copy the notation you have, there should be a pgn button to press on the board at chess.com, and paste it in to fritz 10. (edit>paste>paste game) Then file>print game sends you to a preview of your page where you can edit it. You can also go tools>analysis for your training purposes and then print it out. You could also right click on the notation window and insert a diagram of the position at whichever move you like which will appear on the printout.
I dont know about the new chessmaster, cos mine is an old '5000' edition. But on that you have to play through the game , takeback all moves and then you can print the move list and final board position.
