Problem with blitz chess low time warning

So I was playing a blitz game this morning and I was lost but I managed to destroy my opponent's advantage and then I got the low-time warning when I had twenty seconds! I feel like I should have gotten it when I had a minute. So then I started rushing, forgot about my opponent's passed pawn, and lost. All because chess.com gave me the low time warning so late.

Yes, it is annoying that the warning is given when only seconds are left.
