Puzzle bug saying "Solved with Hint" when a hint was not requested

At least twice tonight Chess.com rated puzzles has says that I have "Solved with Hint" and given negative score, even when I did not ask for a hint, and did not get the problem wrong.   The first time it happened I thought it might be user error, but not the second time.

This happened again today.  Lost 14 points for solved with hint that I never received.

3 times.  Now.  Why am I paying for this service if my bug report goes unaddressed?

I have the same problem.  This happened to me three times.  I raised an issue with chess.com but put it down to user error....

Happened to me today as well. Solved a 2384 puzzle correctly but lost 11 rating points because it claimed I used a hint (I didn't). But I did take 6:39 to solve it, so not sure if that's a factor.

Are you guys using the mobile app?

If you are, the mobile app keeps updating, then it keeps acting like you've done zero tactics at all, and then gives you the solution to the very first one, but gives you the level of your current puzzles rating anyway. Then when you disable an option at the top (I think), it goes back to "normal".

I haven't seen the desktop version do shenanigans like this.

It’s not really a factor, but it can be a factor on how much score you get on it. It won’t lose rating I assume.
