My score is 44 in puzzle rush, 1300 in blitz, and 2700 in puzzles. isn't this a big gap?
puzzle rush score (5 min) vs OTB rating strength ?

My score is 44 in puzzle rush, 1300 in blitz, and 2700 in puzzles. isn't this a big gap?
None of these 3 scores are directly comparable, so it's pointless to talk about a gap.

Your puzzle rush survival score and your puzzles scores are relatively very good, @AmeerThePrince - clearly you take care and use enough time. Have you had much chance to play standard time controls chess? I would say with enough experience of that your faster chess would follow. Having said that, I am pretty unexceptional at blitz.

Yes I don't play much of standard time controls, but I'll try to. Thanks for the advice

Your average is excellent right now.
Managed to nudge my best to 37 recently. Average (which looks like last 10 only) occasionally hits 30, but usually lower.

my rating is currently 600 and my puzzle rush is 28. I beat people 80% of the time in bullet. 90% if I try.

Truth is I am more of a Puzzle Battler who occasionally plays blitz than a chess player these days 🤣.
I have scored 34 in 3 minute puzzle battles.

If you play puzzle battle a lot, you get the same type of problems a lot and solve the first 20 or so much faster. One-third of the first 20 are back ranks. Another third 2-3 move common mates. The last third free piece that you sometimes just take. Clicking and dragging is much faster than 2 clicks. After about 20, I calculate a bit. When playing survival. I find the problems don't have a lot of ways to go wrong until about 30. At about 44, I start thinking through the problems. Around 50, they get complicated.

Nowdays 3 min highscore is literally the same as 2019 5 min highscore
crazy seeing you in a form, i used to watch your yt channel all of the time
25 puzzles solved = 1400 blitz
30 puzzles solved = 1800 blitz
35 puzzles solved =2000 blitz
40 puzzles solved = 2300 blitz
45 puzzles solved = 2500+ blitz
my estimate is:
25 - 1800
30 - 2000
35 - 2200
40 - 2400
45 - 2600
I got 36 and I'm 1400 blitz

Just figured the old(?) ChessDojo Puzzle Rush scores for each rating band would be relevant to this discussion: I'm not sure if they still focus on it, but they used to have 5min Puzzle Rush and Puzzle Rush Survival scores they expected players in certain rating ranges to aim for as part of their training. ELO is expected FIDE.
• 0-400 = 4 in 5min, 5-8 in Survival
• 400-600 = 6 in 5min, 7-11 in Survival
• 600-800 = 9 in 5min, 11-16 in Survival
• 800-1000 = 14 in 5min, 14-19 in Survival
• 1000-1100 = 16 in 5min, 16-22 in Survival
...and then it's another +2 in 5min for every 100 rating, until you're at 2500+ and you're aiming for a 44+ in 5min. Survival scores were a bit more weirdly calculated IIRC- it eventually caps out at 58-64+ for 2500+ ELO. It should also be noted that you should be aiming to get the listed scores consistently as opposed to one time and that Puzzle Rush scores can't reliably be put up against a definite ELO. For example...
• I've gotten a 32 in 5min- a score the Dojo would've expected for someone approaching 1900.
• ...But I score in the mid-20s usually- more in line with someone between 1400-1600.
• ...But my approximate rating is somewhere between 1000-1100, but that might just be because of inactivity on my part.

I've had 26 in 5min and 46 in survival - I'm rated 700 rapid, but I think I'm over-rated as I rarely beat other 700's.
No problem. Survival is tougher problem solving, which is why a lot of people prefer the shorter time ones!
