I suggest you delete that comment; I think that the OP would have benefitted from the learning experience if you hadn't ruined it for him.

People who are over-eager to explain things are the reason we have people under-eager to figure out things.

There are people who help other people.

I presume you mean yourself? Yes, you are a very good and helpful person. You deserve a gold star. 

And there are people who hinder those people who are helping other people.

I would say the exact same thing if this occurred in person; The internet has nothing to do with it.

What would a psychoanalyst say about someone who thinks anybody less serious than they is immature, hiding, and impeding progress?

I've seen and read all these excuses before - Make fun of a person, suggestion, or an idea, then claim it all to be a joke.

Making fun, by definition, is a joke; that's why it's called making fun.

Interesting how these same people cannot or would not make jokes about themselves.

Relax. I'm not bullying anybody except you, and I'm sure you can take it.

You claim you can make jokes about yourself. "What makes you think I wouldn't?" Because I haven't seen a single joke about yourself over seven posts here.

I agree with you  oinquarki. But I didn't make any personal attacks, at least I don't think I did.

You made no personal attacks; you attacked everybody who says stupid stuff.

 Besides, you can take a joke, can't you? Oh, I'm sorry, maybe my comment about some people : "Interesting how these same people cannot or would not make jokes about themselves", should be expanded to state that some people cannot take the same type of "humor" as they dish out.

In what way is this in any way the same "humor" I dish out?
