"Which chess opening fits your personality?" - a quiz

This is a bit controversial, but I assume there is a link between one's personality, and the type of chess opening one should be using. Please let me know what you think based on the quiz results:

Are there no 1.d4 openings on the possible results? My results were Caro-kann (interested in but never tried it), Spanish game (I don't play 1.e4 and prefer the Italian when I do) and French Defence (interested in but playing 1...c5 in KP games).

This is a rather serious flaw, isn't it?

Hardly surprising, as ANYONE can make these quizzes- I could go and make one!

Cute quiz, apparently I should be playing the Ruy Lopez.

Which chess opening fits your personality?
Your Result: Caro-Kann

The Caro-Kann, like the Sicilian Defence and French Defence, is classified as a "Semi-Open Game", but it is thought to be more solid and less dynamic than either of those openings. It often leads to good endgames for Black, who has the better pawn structure. The opening is named after the English player Horatio Caro and the Austrian Marcus Kann who analyzed the opening in 1886. It is believed to be good against computers especially when it leads to a closed position. It is, hence, one of the more common openings played in computer-human matches.

No, you couldn't make one, because the website limits quiz results to ten, no more.

Which chess opening fits your personality?
Your Result: French Defence

The French Defence is a chess opening characterized by the moves 1. e4 e6. The French has a reputation for solidity and resilience, though it can result in a somewhat cramped game for Black in the early stages. Black often gains counterattacking possibilities on the queenside while White tends to concentrate on the kingside.

I play Caro-Kann/Slav as black (2. c6). I suppose I could look at a French or Caro with the colours reversed for white ? lol. Interesting results though, if only for entertainment purposes. I am seriously thinking of adding/changing my white repretoire (currently based on the Colle, but I wind up in stupid Londonesque positions....), but I would like not to play KIA or e4.... oh well. May go into mainline QGD/QGA....

Sicilian Najdorf. Which I have never heard of.

I have been playing the French and looking into d4 as white!  Not a good idea according to this.

Says French for me, but I tried it many years ago, and I was horrible at it. Now I’m horrible at the Caro-Kann!

Actually had a great time with Sicilian Dragon and Kan.

Thanks for posting this!
