You need to choose Custom from the drop down time menu. When you do that, a little "rating options" button pops up. Click and you're in business, except if your settings are wrong, the system ignores you. Here's the article:Last paragraph

Why can I not set the range of opponents I want to play in live chess anymore? I used to be able to select for example, players either 100 points below me or 100 points above and so forth. Now I can't do that anymore. I just get random opponents either higher or lower. This is somewhat problematic because when I'm in a slump, I don't want to constantly play opponents who are rated higher, and when I'm winning, I prefer to play opponents rated higher. Do we not have control over this anymore? Thanks.
