Hello fellow blunderful 1500 blitz player!
you've played a LOT of blitz in like 11 days i can see lol.
but yeah, idk. It's blitz...not surprised blunders happen. Congrats on 1500 though
Reached 1500 in Blitz

at what rating do you reach where you finally stop blundering and games just become about tactics and end games, I'm guessing 1800? as said before, I blunder ALL the time, 700/800's can take solace from that, if I can stumble my way to 1500 literally any player can, the more you play I guess the more you develop better instinct.

That's cute, now try to do it in daily chess.
of course, there are the normal people who applaud others’ achievements, and then the toxic ones

TheSampson, what is funny, I will help you roast 8thMarch2023, because they are only playing games that they setup. Their ELO is over 1000s but playing the same players rated 400-800. They have 0 losses on their account. I guess it's too difficult to cheat when you are playing time control 8thMarch2023 is just trolling.

Why are you limiting yourself to time control and not playing rapid or classical? I'm looking over your games and you are playing well above your skill level for a beginner. It's sus. You shouldn't be down playing others achievements ever, but more so when you haven't even reached their goal.

From your other post, proving I was correct when I assumed you were intentionally playing weaker opponents to manipulate your rating.

I asked a friend who is 2200+ in blitz. He said basically anyone can make, say, a 2-move blunder, but blunders depend on the context and the pressure a player is facing. However a decent guess of where spontaneous, unprompted blunders tend to end is maybe before 1500 (a guess on my friend's part, which I think sounds about right, maybe?)

You mean the easier form of chess? where you have 24 hours to think about one move and is largely susceptible to cheats because of the long time format, you've won 109 games out of 109, don't think I need to say anymore.

Indeed, it's known that if someone plays both rated daily and live chess, daily rating tends to be highest. The last time I remember seeing such a person who was in the 1500s of daily that person was below 1400 in rapid. Many people don't play much rated daily though.

Blitz, on the other hand, seems to generally be a very difficult time control relative to others. I don't think this necessarily has to do with the shorter time - I think the ratings between different time controls are just not really quite directly comparable. I find it quite common to see, say, a 200 point difference between someone's blitz rating and their rapid rating, (at least for people who are like, below 2000) and was surprised to see your difference between blitz and rapid is only about 50 or so. Perhaps you are one of those who thrives in low time controls?
it's because the sample size of my rapid games is only 10 and to be honest I don't have the concentration or will to play such slow chess, well, that's slow for me because all I'm ever used to is blitz as I think it's the most fun, develops good instincts over time and is the most difficult to climb up the ratings, bullet chess is just car crash chess with most games won on time, though the further up the ratings ladder you go of course skill plays a part in sorting the wheat from the chaff so to speak. I'll play a few more rapid games but the few I've already played I find my mind wondering too easily and just start switching tabs doing other stuff, think you have to made a certain way to enjoy slower chess. To me, someone who has a blitz rating over 2000 is much more impressive than any other time control as it's a real mix of skill/speed/intuition, the perfect balance for chess imo.
I've noticed too most players have a rapid rating 200 or so points above their blitz, maybe that tells me I should be over 1700 if played more of them idk.

Ah, you're one of those who enjoys the fast games I don't know how high you will be if you play more rapid, but I'd expect much higher, yes.

RopemakerStreet, I wish there was only 200. I have a 500-600 pt differential between my rapid vs blitz/bullet
Maybe you'd be rated 2000 rapid!

Huh? I'm seeing about a 400 pt difference for you. Which seems on the higher end, but not entirely unseen I think.
that's not to boast, it's to say if I can reach 1500 Blitz than anyone can because I've blundered and stumbled my way all the way there, God knows how this puts me in the top 4.5% of Blitz players.
