Obviously there are multiple different opinions. But does any of the critics think Levy cares what you think.? He is very successful at streaming. Meaning his audience as a whole approves. One other point. In this world today so many whiney people get up looking for something to be offended by or to hurt their own butt with. If ya don't like or benefit from his streams ; then skip on by them. One last point. I think twitch is straight up a toxic cesspool of immature disrespect. It has had a negative effect on him and his content.

You guys don't understand Gotham. He's cool. I like how he recommends the Caro-Kann.
I like Levy most of the time. Sometimes I laugh hysterically. Other times his videos can be predictable, but with so much content produced by him that is almost unavoidable.
gothamchess is not good anymore, his videos are one of 3
- using someone else for content
- making a "how to win it 5 moves with this opening" video
- some other random video that does not follow one of the above (rare)
he promotes openings like the london are caro kann solely for more popularity, he knows both arent the ideal openings to improve on but he trys to put everyone on the london/caro kann train because its easier than teaching them how to play better openings that support improvement
or he will support you to play some refuted trap saying "it has a 2/3 win rate on the lichess database"

His content has gone from educational to entertainment, I want the old Levy back.
His older educational content helped me a lot and the educational videos are way more entertaining than game recaps. Also let’s be honest a random 600 elo game that has a lot of blunders is not entertaining
The thing I don't like is his incessant babbling every other move with random analogies that just go off on a tangent and don't even make sense anymore. Content wise, I think guess the elo is a waste of time. It's also amazing how some of his comments would get you instantly banned if you said them in YouTube comments, but of course he gets away with them in actual videos cause he's famous. (That's youtubes fault btw with their insane censorship)

I love his channel. He deserves to make even more money. Those were just the only flaws I could find which are kind of annoying. But the way he can explain so many different chess lines with absolutely no stutter or hesitation is unmatched.
Levy is good at this game, he should be a Grandmaster
