repetitive chess move

I have a friend that keeps making the same move he moves his knight from d7 to b8, is he allowed to do that? Is it considered a draw after 3 times?
Any repetition is allowed within the 3 try limit is my understanding. Anything beyond twice the app stops the game at that point. Points wise I think it’s less of a loss for the person doing it so it might be a points game for your friend .. or he’s just stubborn 😂

Uh... No. You'll have to qualify that "repetition" lot more than that.
You can move your knight from d7 to b8 all day long if you want. There's no rule against it. (Well, up until you get checkmated, of course. Or if there is no knight to move anymore.)
