Reset ratings

Is it possible to reset, or delete, the online ratings to where they originally were. When making an account I remember choosing  a rating ability, is it possible to simply delete everything since then?

No, but if you suddenly started playing like a master, your rating would adjust to that level pretty quickly. Look at the wild swings in your blitz rating- from 1690 in October 2016 to 1225 in November 2016.

Where is it that you believe your rating should really be?

I think my ratings are pretty accurate, except my tactics rating, which should probably be a couple hundred points lower and my standard rating which is about 200 points below my USCF rating (but thats because I've only played one game and I dont see a "standard" option in live chess). I was just wondering if there was a way to reset some or all of them to the original unrated or 1200 that I started out with. I was just curious how long it would take me for example to get back to 2000 tactics or 1900 mentor. Also, I think the rating drop you mentioned might have been when I switched from 5 min games to 3 min games. I have an even worse rating at 1 min games but they are all probably pretty accurate.

I think you can reset tactics. That's the only one.

You can reset Lesson and Tactics. But not any of the game ratings.

It would probably take a month to get your rating back to 2000 with 5 tactics a day grin.png

o.O I believe you can only reset puzzle ratings and rush stats... Might be wrong... If you're that big on ratings make a new account maybe?
