Seems I had the same thing happen to me yesterday. Clear draw as rook pawn wasn't going to be able to promote once I took his and I went to offer draw and instead must have hit resign. Oh well, opponent must have had a chuckle!
I was playing a game and I ended up resigning by accident and I am very annoyed because I wanted to ask for a draw. Shouldn't chess.com put in a feature that asks you if you are sure you want to resign?
