Hello to everyone in the chess.com world! How many of you are familiar with what freestyle chess is? In past years going back to 2000/2001 it was a booming tend. That even had GM's and IM's playing in these quick style chess tournaments. ICCF GM Arno Nickel has been a big figure in helping keep freestyle chess a live. As of yesterday we have been having some great talks and sharing ideas. He is the lend of a massive project known as "InfinityChess" which is in a server to play freestyle matches and tournaments. He has been part of 8 major freestyle tournaments that I know of. Which was sponsored by PAL/CSS. Today we had a match that was boardcasted on ChessOK. As for me I have been running a new tournament know as WBCCC (World Blitz Corr Chess Championship) which is basically a quickly a blitz tournament, while using the principles of corr chess. If you are interested in following freestyle chess and would like to follow in the talks. Follow this link.
