No. You can click the Analysis icon to get to it

ToastAlone

I have a green button with a star on it. No options to select self analysis.

Martin_Stahl

If you mean the immediate post game dialog, close it and use the analysis icon on the game

They changed it to a magnifying glass icon, with a checkboard pattern. It's quite small now - but self-analysis is still there:

I'll take another look. Thanks.

The magnifying glass icon has been in use for many years. Basically as long as I can remember.

I believe you're right. But it used to be a relatively large button that said "Analysis" along with it, so it was easier to spot.

I found a screenshot of it from a few months ago:

Yes, it seems to be removed for free users. Now when I click analysis, there is no "self-analysis" option after I've used my one free "review". I just get a message telling me to sign up for premium.

The most important thing is to never read previous comments. Good job.

Not sure what you mean? I have read all the previous comments and I am responding to the OP that "yes" (at least where free users are concerned) the "self-analysis" option has been removed - it happened in the oast 2/3 days. The analysis magnifying glass button is there, but if you click it as a free user, you do not get the "self-analysis" option anymore.

Martin_Stahl

As far as I'm aware there has been no change removing the self analysis option. For those seeing an issue, are you in the website or app? If the latter, which one and what version?

?

It works on my end, and I'm a free user.

What browser are you using? For me, it works on both Microsoft Edge, and on the app in IOS ...

pietmanheyns

I also thought it was removed but the button just moved: the button is now top right corner in the ios app

sdolotom

Chess.com, please tell your UX designer and everyone in the chain of this decision that I was this close to uninstalling the app. Thanks to @pietmanheyns for noticing where you moved it.

ChessFan3579

It's gone now, for me today, via the Android app at least. Big green star button. No magnifying glass anywhere...

sndeww

FOR THE APP!! Do NOT click on the analysis icon!!! Click on the win/loss/draw result FIRST. Then, you can click the analysis icon from there. It should lead you to the self analysis. Images from iOS.

I am a paying use. I get 1 game review a day.

JonnyQED

This week on the android table app, the option fir self analysis is gone. Replaced with a big green star that only offers game review.

JonnyQED

TY @sndeww that works. Previously, pressing the review button on the bottom would open up the choice, game review or self analysis. From this week the icon changed to a more chunky graphic and only offered game review,
