My favourite is rapid. There used to be 25 min tourneys here, but too few. I used to like those....
Long enough to play a fairly decent game, and you can do a 5 round Swiss in a single day :)

am a bit of both but not bullet 5 min is least time control i tend to play most of my games here are 10 min or 15/10 longest i do is 30 online otb i play 75mins to move 30 then 20 mins for all other moves
Long games. I'm new to this time limit stuff. :) When I was younger my friends and I would sit around partying and just play. Game might last 30 minutes, might last two hours. Those were the days.....
In the past I've mostly played 15/5 or 30/0, but recently I started playing a lot of 5/2, then 5/0, and now 3/0. I know it's probably bad for me if I want to improve my skill, but it's really fun! Right now in 3/0 I'm noticing that I often lose on the board while having an advantage in time, so I'll probably move on to even shorter time controls.
Then I mean.. over the board, short games, maybe 5 minutes or so, or the longer games 90/30 or so.
I like more the shorter games, though I learn alot more of playing the longer ones. What about you?
