Should chess players wear clothing with ads to get sponsorship & funding?

If you say no, you'd better have a very compelling reason.  Of course the ads would probably be for smart drinks, and technology, and stuff like that, but still.

Man. I'm torn on this one. There's a certain hilarity to imagine a chess player dressed in nascar-esque garb, and in a certain light, it makes sense. At the same time, I would rather see the official uniform involve tweed and a pipe, and the official music to be some sort of light classical or jazz.

Only if the game is televised. Otherwise, I'm not sure if companies would be willing to pay for a sponsorship.
