In my games it's always blunder city. I feel like I have zero concentration at times. I have always been taught to look for any checks, captures or threats before making a move, but do you run through this before EVERY move you make on the board? I feel like there have been times when I have forgot to do this, and got complacent and then lost a piece or got checked.
Obviously yes, especially while your games are full of blunders. Once you eradicate the blundering you can be a bit more intuitive, but still must always be careful
