I've played less then 10 unrated matches. 2 on accident and the others were two days ago as a member helped me battle them in a match.
Should I play rated matches only?

In my opinion, you need to keep chess fun. Trying a new opening or a risky line? Start with an unrated match. If you're really interested in raising your rating, go ahead and play rated matches at longer time controls. Be sure to think carefully about your moves and about the reasoning behind them. Then, analyze each of your games with the computer.
Yes, playing only rated matches will give you a more accurate rating. That involves your Glicko rating though which is dependent on how many games you play.

It depends on how you view chess. If it is fun, a board game, then unrated games are the way to go.
If you consider it a serious sport where we have to learn skills, each game is a serious learning experience. Then every game should be rated.
If you have played over 50 games and your rating has not changed, you need to find another way of studying and learning. You may need to get a mentor.
And that is my opinion.

If you take a look at your stats, you should see a statistic for each game type called Glicko RD, your Glicko Rating Deviation. This number is associated with how often you play that game type and it affects how many points you gain and lose in each game. If you played lots of games recently, your Glicko RD is smaller and your rating changes slower.
If you don't play for a long time, you should notice that your Glicko RD increases with time to accommodate the fact that it doesn't know if you became a better or worse chess player in your time away.
My thinking is that I will have an accurate gauge on my true skill and progress if I rated them all.
