Should I read Play Winning Chess by Jeremy Silman and Yasser Seirawan

Hey guys, I'm 1500-1600 rated here in 10 | 0  so should I read Play Winning Chess Book by Jeremy Silman and Yasser Seirawan?

Yassers books are aimed at beginners/children/idiots. Really big print and loads of diagrams. What you want is a book you can really sink your teeth into. May I recommend My System by Aron Nimzowitsch.

"Chess strategy for Club players" is a good book, I am learning basic strategic concepts with it

I'm an idiot. I read his books when I was 1100ish CFC. They helped me quickly progress to 1500 CFC. That was many years ago though.

Yes you can gain a lot from them if you are 1000ish. I have all the "winning" books. They helped me but they are pretty basic tbh.
