the layout is more simple and therefore easy to load. For people who like the first layout or have slow internet I think it is better to use the simple version of live chess.

Then how do you access the "non" simple? When I click on "Live Chess" it always takes me to "Live Chess-Simple".

no it doesn't. When you click the green bar you come in the normal live chess. At the upper part of the screen you find the words 'live chess simple'. This is a link to the live chess simple -version.
What is the "simple" in "Live Chess-Simple"?
