No problem!
So apparently I just beat a NM?

He seem strong, more like expert strength; he played the opening poor 6...c5?! is not book ; book is 6...h6, 6...c6 or even 6... Nbd7,11...Bd7 and black equalize but his worst move was 23....e4?, better is 23... Bxe5 24.Nxe5 Nf6 and black can hold this position. What disturb me is You Did Not Play Like a 1400 Player! I played in the 1400-1700 otb and their opening, middlegame and endgame is at a low level but here at chess.com I noticed they seem to be playing at a higher level. I wonder why? I wish my FIDE experts friends will view this game and see the 1400 player are playing mmore like 1900 otb player!!!

Well... looks like things just got interesting here.

If that's the case then I'm flattered, lucky game I suppose. :P I'm around 1500-1550 now but any 1,900 blitz player would crush me 99% of the time.

Looking at the list above of active players in Pakistan it seems to me that even players rated under 1700 may be awarded the NM title in Pakistan if they finish in the top 8 of their national championship . Does it not matter the strength of the players they faced and ratings don't matter either ? Do any of the players above from 5-10 have the NM title in Pakistan ?
NM Reb, the reason that most of the players become inactive in Pakistan is that the only FIDE rated games they play are in Chess Olympiads which are held after every 2 years. Ony IM Mehmood Ahmed Lodhi due to his own efforts (money) and some sponsorship from Assocaition and wealthy fans plays other FIDE rated tournaments (his highest rating was 2475). Currently India, Iran & Turkey are open to accpetign players from Pakistan but our Assciation is the most poorly funded. They dont have enough money to send top 10 to other FIDE rated tournaments. It is difficult to play tournaments in Europe (expensive). Perhaps we need a Grand Master in Pakistan to help boost government interest.

I understand that playing tournament chess in some countries is very difficult , for various reasons . I played for 25 years in the US but never any FIDE rated games and didnt have a FIDE rating after playing chess for 25 years in the USA . I moved to Portugal in 1997 and had to start as an unrated player there in FIDE rated events because they did not recognize/honor my USCF rating !
There is no chance that any player (men) whose FIDE playing strength below 2000, can get NM. I will give you the link of latest National Championship games. You can do the analysis yourself.

There were 11 rounds. Few links above can give you fair idea of the game level of top 5 active players of Pakistan

We have yet to devise a system for rating games played in Pakistan. Waqar Ahmed Madni, the subject of this thread is working on it.

So 11. ... h6 and 12. ... g5 were genius moves?

In Pakistan, some people DO make it to the top 8 when in their best form, but then, quit playing chess for a long time and lose their strength and even the basic intuition about chess, and end up becoming weak players.
Mr. Waqqar Ahmed, the owner of that account, is a personal friend of mine who became an NM early in his playing career. He currently still retains his NM title because its a life time title.
The list shown above by Reb is the most recent national championship standings list. The point to note here is that Pakistan is undergoing a split in national chess federations and many of our top players are playing under a parallel national chess federation.

I see, thank you for the clarification.
O nevermind I thought you were discussing me. My bad!
