so no analysis possible on a crazyhouse game then?

Doubtful. In otb,  crazyhouse is played at blitz speeds, and is normally enjoyed as a way to use intuition more than  worrying about calculation. As far as possible number of games, it likely to be over 10^240, or 10 followed by 240 zeros. Still a paltry fraction of go positions though.

But since it's usually played at a fast rate, there would be little reason to study a crazyhouse game afterwards.

aha. thanks very much for that. I don't know why i like it so much, i guess it's because i am so new to chess in general.

I'm still a bit slow to do anything in 3 min : )

But analysis is always useful regardless of the speed of the game.

We currently can rewatch a game after playing it, which is nice, but it's not perfect since the pieces in the pocket are not shown. I think that would be the minimum for at least manual analysis.

I think showing the pieces in the pocket should be easy as they're shown during the games.

I'm a bit new to the forums, does anyone know how to request features or even contribute as a developer?

In order to analyze a Crazy House game, the site would need an engine capable of it. Do any good open source one exist that have a permissible enough license for a commercial site to use?

As for feedback and suggestions, there is a forum dedicated to site feedback and in the help menu there is an option to submit suggestions.

The site uses staff developers, but there is an API that outside developers can leverage to use games and other site assets to build tools around. https://www.chess.com/developers

Lichess.org does have zhouse and other variant engines.   I havent been able to upload my pgn files to that site from chess.com.

Perhaps the zhouse game notation is different between the two sites. I keep getting  an error message

"Cannot parse moves [2.46] failure: end of input expected"

Would be great if I could just take my games over there for analysis !
