sore losers letting the time run out

Some people just can't take a loss and let the time run out, these are the sort of people who got medals in middle and elementary schools for simply participating, knowing they really didn't deserve an award and always felt jealousy towards those who got rewarded for actual achievements. This being said I cannot find anything more annoying than having my time wasted by people who are clearly in a losing position (check out my last match), it's very frustrating. The time it takes for auto resign to kick in due to inactivity, should be reduced especially in thirty minute games.

At your level, no one should resign.

Letting your time run out instead of making a move IS resigning, just with less class.

This is the reason I don't play 30 minute games. So I don't get punished for winning. I find 10 minutes to be optimal: enough time to think, but not too long to wait for a clock to drain. Even better is 5 10.

I've learned a while back that when playing online, I also do other things (like running 2 chess games concurrently or just surf the forums)... so if my opponent decides to stop moving, it isn't a big deal.
