To be 1500 is to be in the top 5% of all players, and no matter how long we've been playing it is statistically impossible for everyone to be in the top 5%. What's possible for you just isn't possible for some. 🤷
Stuck at 700? really?

Not everyone starts as a good player and, it can be hard passing 700 elo because that is where you need to play a lot more carefull, and that is also where the players improve and don't make that much mistakes than before that is why it can be difficult for people to get stuck at 700 elo and it is also hard to go up with elo because it can get really hard.

I know that not everyone starts as good players, that's not the case. I keep seeing some people saying they stuck at 700 for years.. is this even possible? not starting out as good, but getting stuck there for years..
so the natural question arises, "is getting stuck at any rating the same?" some IMs can't become GMs for a lifetime.. is this the same? how can one get stuck at 700, it's just basics.. I still don't get it.

Idk, many players aren't really doing what it takes to improve, analyzing games and studying. Everyone hits their wall of how far they can get from simply playing. I have a friend on my friends list who recently placed first in Legends League last week and has played 13,000 rapid games this year alone and he's rated only 200. I don't get it, but I guess it happens.
I don't understand how people can get stuck around 600-700 ratings. Is it the same with stucking at any rating? Is getting stuck at 1500 & 700 the same? stuck is stuck?
I personally think it is not, 700 is just basic moves and anyone can pass this stage.
