Styles of Houdini and Rybka

I think the makers of Houdini have claimed that it has a 'romantic' style. I think this is more than true even though i did not believe it when I first heard it. I thought they were just marketing their product. But after seeing a few games of it, I realized that it really sacrifices a lot of material for getting open lines and files which it then uses to demolish its opponent.

On the other hand, Rybka, I notice pays a lot of attention to its pawn structure and wants to place its pieces in solid positions.

Hence, I would compare Houdini to Morphy or Carlsen and Rybka to Steinitz.

Another typical prefernce of Houdini seems to be that it tends to place the bishops on the last rank quite effortlessly. Rybka can be aggressive when it wants to be but I find it over-analytical and defensive minded.

My question have play them on the same time control and openngs.  I think this way you can judge from your own  games

also, i am sure that these machines will drastically improve opening theory even if it takes the best minds and a lot of time to understand their suggestions.

Threebeast

Carlsen is probably closer to Rybka than Houdini.
