According to Laurry Kaufman's test statistics, + 800 rating difference is equivalent to one piece handicap.
That's already incorrect.
Kauffman explicitly states that the value of a handicap is dependent upon the lower rated player.
For example giving a piece to an 800 player is not worth as much as giving a piece to a 2000 rated player.
Also, I have to say, this is common sense.
According to Larry Kaufman's claim, + 800 rating difference is equivalent to one piece handicap. (He tested dozen of games of Komodo vs Title players)
So,
3600 rated engine can give one piece handicap to 2800 rated GM.
2000 rated player can give one piece handicap to 1200 rated player.
I would like to test an unrated handicap match against 1200 rated player for a couple games. in setting of your time control preference (1 min to 3 min time control , whatever you prefer). I will drop a piece in 2nd move, 1. e4 (whatever you play). 2. Ba6 ??.
If you are 1200 player and interested , you can add friend and play 2-4 unrated match.(result should be 50/50 or balanced)
Cheer,
Nay
