This is the not so popular system I learned from a friend of mine as an anti Sicilian. I learned that it's called, the Big Clamp. It's very effective especially when Black castles kingside but also works against black's queenside castle. Do you know of any books or resources I could use to study this system. I do see a few GM games on chessgames.com where d3 is played before my friend's usual move of c3 then d3. Either way, the following setup is aimed for. Your thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I'M Lawrence Day wrote a 32 page book on the system for Modern Chess Theory. Unfortunately, it is so rare that the cost for copies is around $50 plus shipping now. YIKES!! Try chessgames.com for a collection of games that use this approach for white.

I mean making a plan where you want to place your pieces is nice but you usually need to react to what your opponent plays.. I understand that not many people wants to learn hundreds pages of sicilian theory but trying to play the same thing whatever is happaning is just.. bad..
Precisely, Zebulon is meant to be system which can adapt to various black moves and move order. A must read IMO.
