The fastest win in the history of mankind

Hello everyone,

I'd like to share a game between me and another 1600's rated player.

This is probably the funniest (and fastest) win I have ever had in my life. I think that the game definitely deserves a post!

The game started with an opening called "The Tennison Gambit". I know this opening quite well, and I'm well versed with the sharp traps exist in this opening (thanks to a wonderful video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uwqlAvVtdE

However, my opponent decided to play the move 2.Nf6 (which leads to an unknown variation that isn't mentioned in the above video)., perhaps my opponent played 2.Nf6 because they didn't want to get trapped. Ironically, they fall to a trap that I invented during the game, which was much stronger than any of the traps in the video. Take a look, it's fun to watch

Of course I know the fool's mate, but the fool's mate can never happen during a game (unless the two players collaborate with each other to create the fool's mate). For this reason, I wouldn't consider the fool's mate to be the real fastest win...

After Nf6 black has a much better position.

Yep, I also fell for the scholars mate when I was 900.

Don't take the title seriously

7...g6 seems dubious but I'll have to check the computer to know for sure.

black could have played on and probably won.

This is not the fastest lost.

9 days ago I made a thread that went through a bunch of the worst games on chess.com (I'm talking <200 rating) Here is one such game, this is a live 5 minute game with no pre-planning or pre-arrangement, just raw 3xx/4xx level chess skill.

This is hilarious. I've never seen a game between 300's and 400's before. I didn't even think that such ratings exist. Looks like the White player is in Deep pu 

You must be joking. After 9.Nxd8, Black loses his queen and he also loses the castling right. Winning/Drawing isn't possible. Black would lose the game for sure.

i won quite a few games after losing my Queen and you managed a ridiculous blunder on move 2.

Also, 2.Nf3 isn't a blunder nor is it a mistake. Nf3 is the main line of the Tennison Gambit

Get over yourself.  Anyone is capable of being beaten, no matter the odds.

well check out my game against Dogukanfrb where i totally threw away my queen, after missing the win of his queen, like a noob on crack but still cruised to victory like a boss.

I understand that you beat someone after losing your queen. I also beat some players after losing my queen. So what? it doesn't mean that black would "probably" win. There is a HUGE chance that black would lose the game.

lets toss a coin to settle this.

Rather that, let's use common sense

white is supposed to play.... 2.e4xd5 right off the bat in the Scandinavian so this should never come up...

This isn't the Scandinavian.

This is Tennison Gambit, a well-known variation of the Reti opening
