I have just watched the film, and I found it exquisite! Here is a chess position I saw in it, where GM Luzhin (playing Black, the moves were made by his fiancee, after his suicide, according to the notes he left) forces a mate in the final battle between him and the GM Turati, after a rook sacrifice:
Not too bad I think, isn't it? Anyway, it's a beautiful film
