The "Samurai" set ( the initial post on the very top of the forum) is in oriental style, that is why its pieces are not Staunton. Those sets by "Emelyanov and sons" that are in classic style have Stauton pieces. But their Stauton pieces differ from the most similar Staunton ones that are popular. Well, people say they Like Stauton. Me too by the way. Not every Stauton though. I personaly saw at least 16 similar Staunton "horses", (the knights) that are very similar but still - different.
