The secret to playing chess.

 Whilst I fear that my post will seem slightly pretentious, the value of the information and insights I have to impart compel me to post regardless. Firstly many people will have told you that there are no shortcuts, no secret way to always win. These people are liars. Read on, with an open mind and ready yourself for enlightenment.

The first thing to realise is that Chess can be a little complicated. After each player has played 10 or so moves, there are hundreds of possible moves to consider. Clearly a better player will be able to sift through these hundreds of possibilities better than you can. The solution? Simplfy the game using a secret magical technique I like to call the "Chess is dumb rawr swap of justice go!".

Imagine a situation where you have your horsey and you can take his horsey but his horsey is guarded by a pawn. What do you do? simply follow my super magical technique and swap. End result is a loss of a horsey each, and a simpler board. 

Of course this isn't a black and white always follw strategy, there will be times when say your horsey is in a great position and you could swap it for his horsey but his horsey is in a crap position, in that sort of situation you would not swap horsey for horsey but instead look elsewhere on the board for other oppourtunities for swapping justice.

Thank you for agreeing with my ridiculously powerful strategy. you may become one of my disciples. As for you the skeptical Phil fellow, you should try it sometime, or just fault the logic! it's infalliable!. I don't doubt that many players could make better moves than me when each player has various rooks, horseys and bishops and pawns in the centre all jumbled up, but when it becomes simple then the experiance gap is reduced and super intelligence is more important.

Before I just saw horseys - now I'm told that some are bad, others good. And even if I do master this, apparently the good ones can become bad and vice verca!
