WWW
It's not available to everyone but it is out to some members.
Within the 7-year timeframe that I've been a member here, I don't recall ever seeing this feature.
And I used to play very many 'Live' games each and every day to where I would often make the No. 1 spot on the leaderboard in The Chess.com Legends Club -- yes, that many games a day!
My guess is that this feature was designed to motivate players to play more games.
Martin how do chess.com decide which members to make it avaiable for?
It's some kind of automated system that handles it.

Good question!
I've had this 'Streak' feature for 37 days now.
At first, I thought it may be because I'm in The Chess.com Legends Club. But after checking the profile of the others here, that's not the reason. Then I thought it may be because I play the 'Daily' games. But after checking the profile of the others here again, that couldn't be the case, because there are others here who do play the 'Daily' games and don't have this 'Streak' feature.
Chess.com has programmed the system to somehow provide this 'Streak' feature for a particular reason; and I doubt that it's done randomly.
Perhaps it may be that I've been playing the 'Daily' games for many years now? I can't think of what else it could be because I have not played any other games for a long while now! I have not played any puzzles/bots and I have not played any 'Live' games as well -- for over 8 months now!!
It's only been the 'Daily' games!! And I comment in forums!! But that is all!! What else could it be?!!

I believe the system allows certain criteria to be set, but outside of that, it's random. One example is releasing to beta members only, but as far as I'm aware, there's not a criteria set on this feature and it's random.

Martin -- yes, I think it's random. Note the GIF image (right below this sentence) of the man playing chess -- he does not receive the 'Streak' feature, but his opponent does.
