I suspect the instructions are actually one of these "spot the errors" puzzles in disguise...
This Is Just SOOOOOOO Wrong

This is horrendous and quite terrible. Imagine a chess noobie buying this and learning the (extremely) wrong rules! This is almost as despicable as stan.
So, I recently received a magnetic travel chess set for long trips, and was astonished at what I saw when I read the manual for how to play chess.
#1. See for yourself:I mean, these guys are selling chess sets. They should know that check is not the end of the game...
#2. Perpetual Check(mate?)
Actually, I believe this is called a win for whichever side checkmates...
#3. So, it clearly states that the King has a cross on top, but in the diagram, the king is in the wrong square!
#4: The rules for castling are as illustrated:Except... those don't have crosses on them, so they're queens! Is queen castling some new thing I don't know about?
#5. The company (Amerous) apparently decided they wanted to add a new rule to the game. They incorrectly stated that a pawn is required to capture if they can capture, which is not the case!
As you can see, in the diagram below, white doesn't have to take!
Let me know in the comments what you think of these horrendous errors made by a chessboard-manufacturing company!
Must be another one of some chess.comie's attempt to change the game rules again.

Clearly, he must be a GO player.

And when they get into the arguments that they're sure to get into they're gonna point right to those rules and say "see, you idiot, it say's right there in the rules. Can't you read?"
Ah yes, good times ahead.
