This isn't politics

I'am just saying, chess is suspending or stoping Russians from playing in top level chess and unless they are supporting the invasion, suspending Russians or from other countries doesn't make sense unless they have COVID-19 or something. It's very racist in my opinion and the only person that shouldn't play chess is the leader of the country not the people who love chess. Also, other forums like this are being closed/lock because of "politics" or whatever, really it's just an excuse because chess.com just released a blog on the matter .... I will shortly be changing my flag ....

This type of topic, on the basis of the subject, invites political discourse. That's why they are being locked. A few basic ones had been left open and most devolved into such discussion.
