Tidy or untidy positions?

I like the second. Easier to find somethin to do, although I generally get it wrong. But it's more fun :)
I agree, I like the perfect chaos as well. The first is better if you are playing to win though 
estragon has the tidy positions, his opponent gets the mess... 
What do you prefer?
Everything orderly and protected, material balanced, both kings safely tucked away, nice and neat?
Or both sides with weak/doubled pawns, multiple pieces en prise, material equal but unbalanced, messy positions?
