He starts by saying 'I've just played a cheater', but the account he played against is still there and hasn't been banned, that means either he's badly wrong, or Chess.com's Anti-Cheat algorithm is absolute rubbish, it's one or the other, an experienced professional player boldy stating his opponent was cheating is quite something when the player in question is still active and not banned.

you posted the link before he was banned and then edited, shoudn't do that as the trigger happy mods will lock any thread that makes accusations which is why I didn't post his name, but yes it's strange a player who had an account since 2008 decided to cheat, must have realised he was playing a known youtuber and just didn't want to lose to him, I imagine all his friends and family members knew his account name, and now has to live with the shame of having the red circle next to his name.

The optics is atrocious. surprise The cheating occurred on Chess.com. And the discussion occurred on U-Tube & Chess Vibes. happy I should look for a new home. meh

you posted the link to the game (which obv includes name) last night and then edited his name in after his ban, I know becuase I checked the thread then his account which at the time was still active, he was only banned today at 2.45pm CET, at least that was his last game time, doesn't matter anyway, I wonder if chess.com acted just because of traction, as Dubov's recent interview highlighted, only stupid people can get caught.

I'll tell you what, I'm so sick of cheats I'm actually going to post a game where my opponent was confused in the stafford gambit, did not know why I was hanging two pieces (called the magical line), so he took 1 minute and 8 seconds to think and then played the best moves for the rest of the game https://www.chess.com/game/live/90702525741

so it doesn't matter llama, I'll lock the thread anyway, not playing on this site anymore. Of couse a 1400 ignores two hanging pieces to make a rook move LOL, the best move, after 1 minute 8, give me a break.

The difference between a "titled" player and a player who chases women is a suitably place hypen...

Not a lot of people know that....

A lot of the moves look human, and the position is very forcing. Capturing pieces you sacrifice followed by developing and castling often (not always) matched what the engine wanted, but also those are the most normal moves.

After that sequence your opponent plays human moves like 24, 25, and 26 which were not the engine's top choice. Then you blundered your queen...

The only thing suspicious about the game is your opponent paused... but even that's not suspicious considering it's a highly tactical position. When my opponent plays a tricky gambit I pause too... any reasonable player would.

For what it's worth I also graphed this guy and everything looks normal.

any resonable player would pause? ......for 1 minute 8 seconds in a 3 minute blitz game FFS.

After he found the very best move, ignoring my 2 pieces hanging, it's not exactly difficult after that to find the best move knowing the attack was then stopped, that's the thing with some cheats, they are clever, and it seems they've fooled you. Anyone who things stopping playing for over a minute and then moving a rook and ignoring 2 hanging pieces, for a 1400...is normal then there's no hope

You are a 2300 blitz player, you are highly skilled, you cannot compare yourself pausing for a minute in a 3.0 blitz game to a 1400 doing it to find the best move, 1400, don't ignore 2 hanging pieces, anyway, it's obviously suspicious to anyone.

someone knocked on his door, in the most crucial move of the game, he came back 1 minute and 8 seconds later, and in 'a highly tactical position' just wipped out the very best move, ignoring 2 hanging pieces, OK.
