Yes, those are all correct! What about the last continous point on the graph (at 65)? The point represents the oldest player in the top 100. And what about the point all the way to the right?
The oldest player in the top 100... I have to admit that I had to look that one up. But now that I know who is him, it makes a lot of sense. It's just that I didn't know Mr Evgenievich's age properly.

I had to look that one up myself to know what you were talking about.
He had a nice rivalry with Mr. Kimovich. I see he doesn't appear in your graph, maybe because he is inactive.
Here is a more complete view with all active players from the May 2017 list. Funny enough about 8000 players don´t have a birthday on the list and a very few are completely wrong (one is from year 900 something lol).

Wow, that's nice... where did you get your data from?
Also, the one spike that really stands out for me is the one right after 1930. Does it represent someone that I might know?
According to FIDE it must be Juraj Nikolac. And he has an article in Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juraj_Nikolac
But I suppose the answer to your question is no.

I downloaded the full rating list from the FIDE website and processed it with PSPad and OpenOffice, then copied some data to Excel for the better looking diagram.
And @kingofshedinjas is correct, it is Nikolac. Not really a known player.
Some oddities: The highest rated player born in 2007 is MAULIDI from Indonesia, for whatever reason his name is written with all capital letters.
Then there are a bunch of weird birthdays, the table below goes like (Name, Country, Gender, Rating, Games, K-Factor, Birthday, active/inactive). Makes one wonder how "good" they take care of their list, haha.

This is a little something that I did for fun, out of curiosity. I made a graph showing the top FIDE rating of players of each birth year, according to the official FIDE ratings published on May 1. The ratings on the chart are the actual ratings of the players minus 2400, to accentuate difference (I don't know Microsoft Word well enough to make one of those breaks at the bottom of the graph, where you can skip the lower numbers on the y-axis and still display the actual values). Also, the only data I had was FIDE's official top 100 junior's list (from the FIDE website) and the top 200 players overall list (from 365chess.com), so some of the very young and (relatively speaking) very old ages are not represented. Anyway, here's the graph:
So... any comments? Are there any points that you can immediately tell represent one particular player, without having to look at the rating lists? Does anyone want to take a guess who the point all the way to the right represents?
