I am having trouble with blitz chess. In online chess when I have time to look at the board I am a 1469 about to go up when I finish off my opponet in the game I am playing now who is a 1387 but in 10min live chess I am aaround 600 I make mistakes all the time when I am rushed and when I take my time and get to the end game where I am about to finish off my opponent I run out of time before I can checkmate. What's a good way to train for live chess? I need to beable to react faster.

Two suggestions:

 1. Get better at playing at slower time controls. Your blitz will improve automatically.

2. If you think blitz chess is the only viable / enjoyable form of chess for you : avoid race-condition time-scramble nonsense by playing with a time delay or increment.  The delay will mitigate costly blunders quite a bit (both for you and your opponent).
