TT rating vs. OTB rating

At 2500, my current TT rating is about 600 points higher than the FIDE equivalent of 1900 to my ECF rating of 156 (which is admittedly not very accurate as only based on 10 games). When you say OTB rating you mean FIDE rating right?

You might want to note that USCF is considered generally around 50-80 or even sometimes 100 points inflated over FIDE (although that might not matter here I guess since we're talking about 600 point gaps between OTB and TT). Also, what is the gap between yours?
mine is low, but I recently dropped because I was distracted :)
And thanks! My opponent was rated 2100!
Mine is like, 215. But my real TT rating is 2350, once I'm back on track and focused then I'll bring it back up :)
But my rating recently dropped OTB from 2023 to 1979, so I'll have to bring that back up.

Interesting conversation, unfortunately I do not play OTB due to distance to local clubs/tournaments but out of interest how does the chess.com live standard rating compare to OTB ratings? the live standard rating does seem quite a high standard here at chess.com, for reference
my online =1850
live standard=1450
tt=2000
im sure I can get all these ratings higher over time but they give a general idea of my level of play,
so would I be correct in presuming that the live standard rating is somewhere in the ball-park of the reallife OTB ratings?(ie might my uscf or fide be somewhere near 1450? if i were able to play OTB) would anyone agree? what is your take on this thought? thanks :-)

I don't know if this will help, but my TT rating is around 1700, while my USCF is STILL 1441.
So maybe 200-250, but thaat might only be in my case.

1900-ish in CC here, for a real (FIDE) rating 1950-ish (I have good hope to break 2000 next year).
2300-ish in TT.
So, a 300 or 400 points gap from my point of view.
Thanks for your responses everyone :)
Based on the people who commented I found the average was around 225. I think it's quite reasonable, even though there were some negative numbers and some people I didn't count who had no OTB rating.
@romanic666 I've been trying to get my standard rating up, I use a real board and everything. But no strong players like to play longer than a 30 minute game, which I find ridiculous. So it's kinda like blitz to me, which explains my time pressure and blunders. Unless it is possible to play long games with players higher than 1700 regularly (like, for example 60 0, or 90 30) it's much closer to the real experience of OTB play.
TT vs. OTB is more applicable in my opinion. If your TT rating is 300+ rating points higher (based on the average gap) than your OTB that should be a sign that you are quite strong tactically for your rating (a good sign).
The TT rating is a bit inflated so the gap of 225 makes sense.
Those who use TT on chess.com, how higher is your TT rating than your OTB rating? Is there any correlation?
