Chess.com uses the Glicko system for calculating ratings I believe. If you play a lot of games at a certain time control, eg. bullet, I think your Ratings Deviation will be low, and your rating will not fluctuate much. If a player doesn't often play at a particular time control, their RD will be high, and their rating will jump around a lot.
Is there a separate way the chess.com does rating changes (after a win/draw/loss) for ultra bullet games? I did my first one (15s) and noted that I only gained 3 elo.
