US Chess Federation-Was I duped/hacked?

I tried to join the US Chess Federation Club, so I could play in their tournament. I made a couple of mistakes in my attempt, but I corrected them (wanted me to verify my US Chess Fe # & my username at chess.com), they never accepted my request and when I type in US Chess Fed Club from chess.com, it gives me an error message? Ant ideas? Help?

I ompleted them twice.

The process of forms being verified was only done once; the part were the admins check the information in the form against what is in the US Chess site

Forms will be verified again sometime today
