What is uscf?
USCF and chess.com rating

It’s like comparing apples to oranges because they use different rating systems and you’re comparing them to different time controls. What rating are you using? If it’s blitz or rapid the only comparison you can compare is to your USCF blitz or quick rating. If you don’t have a USCF blitz or quick, then you’re comparing classical to online speed chess, which isn’t the same.
That said, the majority of people’s online ratings tend to be higher than their over the board, simply because there’s more access to games to raise their rating more, but you play unrated(you really shouldn’t) so that’s probably why.

I wasn’t talking to you, I’m answering the original question and he stated he plays mostly unrated online.

On the other hand, apples are better.

I'm rated about 300 points higher on here than USCF. Playing someone over the board for money is different than playing a game on your phone while lying in bed. I'm around 1500 in USCF. People rated as low as 700 have given me a fight for my life. You compare that to Chess.com where people rated 700 don't even come up in my game searches. It's just a different thing.
uSCF is the Inited States Chess Federation. It is the group that first adopted the Elo rating system in 1960.
uSCF members play in nationally rated tournaments. They tend to be more serious chessplayers than those in chess.com, who include casual players who may play online but who have not seriously studied the game
The average USCF rating is about 1500. The average chess.com rating is (I think) below 1000.
So, yes, chess.com ratings are quite a bit different from those of USCF.

I don't think the average US Chess rating is anywhere near 1500. A 1400 rating is in the 81st percentile and a 900 is in the 61st. Average is probably under 800.

I have like a 1200 uscf rating and I used to be like 1300, somehow. I've played around 60 games of uscf and I don't think it matches my chess.com elo. Ive seen like 1800s on this website that have like a 1200 uscf. Maybe bcuz I pretty much only play unrated on cc, but i sometimes lose to 1200s so I don't think I'm underrated. But I can beat 1500s, 1400s, and 1300s. Am I overrated in uscf or underrated in chess.com?
And I've seen a 2400 with 1400 FIDE
