USCF OTB ratings update frequency?

USCF supposedly updates every 3rd Wednesday.  Is this a reliable process? I've had several tournaments in last 30 days (TD submits quickly), but the May update is still missing 8 games for me. Is this common?  Do others experience this phenomenon? What "really" happens?

I'm still provisional so kinda new at this. Thank you.

The past few years, most of my events have been rated within 24 hours of completion. If the TD submits the event right away, it usually gets rated within a few hours.

There are delays when there are membership problems with one or more players in the event. For instance, if someone whose membership expired plays. The membership must be paid for the event to get rated. The TD can pay an extra fee to resolve this.

The May published rating update was done in April. The June one should have been done yesterday, but it looks like it hasn't been completed yet.

Thanks @Martin_Stahl.  Sounds like this isn't an extraordinary occurrence??

I don't play enough rated chess to know how often the monthly is late and usually only  check it after I do have rated games and when getting ready to run a rated event.

There may be a misunderstanding of the monthly update.  Since OTB tournaments involve travel and often hotel reservations (and coordinating teams) players need to know in advance which tournaments sections they will be eligible to enter.  The third Wednesday update is to generate the official ratings to be used in the following month for both pairings and section eligibility.  Any tournaments rated after 5/18/2022 would not be considered for the June 2022 supplement and any tournaments rated after 6/15/2022 would not be considered for the July 2022 supplement (US date format is month/day/year).

Also, the following is the timing for the new supplement.

The monthly supplement rating lists are generated on the third Wednesday of the month before they take effect. The supplement should be posted to the US Chess website within four business days of the ratings being generated.  Today is only one business day and they should be available by next Tuesday (Wednesday if it took an unexpectedly long time to generate them).

Ah, that last part must have been added after they moved to the new servers. It used to be listed pretty quickly after the third Wednesday.

@jetoba, it's great hearing from a TD and FIDE arbiter on this subject. I felt silly asking the TD at my tourneys.

Just FYI, my June published rating is showing now so you might check yours.

Thx, but not yet
