It isn't that we all don't enjoy your "I woke up, ate some cheetos, watched my DVR episode of Fringe"
Why do you think we all make the same that you? Some of us have important things between hands apart from cheetos
That was a nice blog you did for the Championship match pdela. Looks like you are all set to participate in the contest!
A quick note about prizes: The group gave out 10 months of Diamond Memberships during the first group contest (Weekly Match Prediction Contest). Although there will only be one winner for the first blog contest (December - January); the number of winners for future blog contests (February - March; April - May; June - July) will be more than one contestant if there are enough participants during this first competition!
I'm trying to put some serious thoughts and weight behind this William. With my blogs and reporting stuff that I do, if I can do this, things might get interesting . I have a few players in mind(some might be obvious, others not LOL) so I'm going to take the time out over the next several days and see if I can come up with a beginning foundation. Even if I don't do it, I'm curious to see the other entries. This is going to be a sweet contest if we have a lot of people participating.

Blog Contest, With Prizes!
What's up chess fans?! The United States Chess League group is holding the first of many Blogging Contests highlighting the League as well as its players. To help spread awareness of the league, and to offer opportunities for those who enjoy writing, the group will be awarding a one month Diamond Membership for the winners of each blogging topic -- that's right, cold hard Diamonds baby
... All you have to do is join the group; read the rules article for the contest; read the group forum thread explaining the subject and the criteria of the content; and then get blogging!
Not familiar with the United States Chess League? Here is your chance to become familiar with the league, which includes some of the most popular players in the United States (including players such as: GM Hikaru Nakamura, GM Larry Christiansen, GM Ben Finegold, as well as many others). With a month and a half before the first contest deadline, even someone just starting to learn about the league will be ready -- so no excuses! It isn't that we all don't enjoy your "I woke up, ate some cheetos, watched my DVR episode of Fringe" daily blog
BUT let's try writing about something that matters, shall we?!?!
Also, the subject of the first two contests have been selected in order to allow anyone (regardless of chess knowledge or skill level) to feel comfortable in participating. Included below are links to the U.S.C.L. group. Stop in, sign up, and have some fun!
