@PEATY66 I lose just as much, but at least it feels like I'm getting out-skilled, whereas regular chess it can feel like you lost to a lack of opening knowledge
(I sometimes beat players much better than me in normal chess & maybe it's because they're unfamiliar with the random openings I play, rather than me out-skilling them)
Fischer random / Chess 960 is the main variant, and should be a much more prominent part of this site as it's good for beginners, good for sharpening tactics, and throws up interesting situations every game....but sometimes it can be hard to even find an opponent!
Where else can clowns like me do this?
The World's best also play 960, so if you want to see some real quality....
