I think I would have played, 2) e4 :P
What? Another Blitz Game?

king should have taken the bishop perhaps? not too sure. after knight takes on e4 maybe king to b8
After 6.KxB Nxe4+ 7. K move and 7.... Qh4, Black's R is pretty taboo since White has to prepare his defenses or die. Actually, in the game, I think, after 6. Ke2 (not a good move) 6... d5 might have been my best reply, since it threatens 7...Bg4, winning White's Q. I think 6. Kg1 to Bxf2+ is possibly Black's wisest response.

obviously I'm not the best chess player here but let me take a look at taking the bishop
Or maybe

In the first example, my initial thought would be after 8.Qf3, 8...Nd4 gives Black a big advantage. The second example looks saner for White. After Nxg3, hxg Qxg+ and Kg1, Black might even castle and pin the Knight.

yes you are right, maybe king f1 would be better, or maybe something else, I still feel black could have taken the bishop and defend it properly :P

Well, I don't doubt taking the material is possible, just very difficult, like most gambits. The Traxler (or Wilkes-Barr) isn't very easy for either side because of the potential tactical pitfalls, but it sure is fun to play. It would make a good thematic opening.

I played this 5/0 game against a slightly higher rated opponent and lost on time with a totally winning advantage after having trapped his Queen. My very first move was a mouseslip - I had intended my usual 1. e4 and had no idea how to proceed after 1. e3. So, I played this entire game off the cuff.
4.c4 looks good to me. These mouse slips torment me, but it's easy enough to transpose after one as innocuous as 1.e3. Fingerslips when playing blitz on the iPad are frustrating, too.

Nice game in the Traxler/Wilkes-Barre; a good illustration of how Black's attack becomes very dangerous after an error by White. As I understand things, the T/W.B. is getting a new lease on life lately at the higher levels.
Your first game with the mouse-slip move e3 was patiently conducted, and a very nice trap of the queen. After such a transition (to a technically won game) I always look to make a move to remove the threat of any cheapo loss, then I can play the rest of my game quickly without worry of silly mates. For instance, in your game, to play luft at the first chance you get after securing winning advantage. Good luck with the rest of your games!
Separately, thanks for the Karpov photos. nice work.

after slipping and playing e3 why not go into the Colle system? The opening moves probably would have saved you some clock time.

I don't know the Colle System. I'm an opening wasteland.
The Traxler can indeed be a dangerous opening, just like the Muzio or even double Muzio, particularly the opponent isn't prepared for it. It a tactical tightrope walk for both sides.

The Colle is a d4 opening with white moves e3 Nf3 Bd3 O-O Nbd2 c3 Qe2. The moves can be played in several different orders. The main advantage from my perspective is that it is an easy system to remember. The main disadvantage is what to do with the dark squared bishop.
I am not familar with the traxler or muzio but neither seem to involve the mistaken move to e3.

The comment on the Muzio and Traxler was a reponse to a different person and had nothing to do with 1.e3
Since I never, other than this one time mistskenly, play 1.e3, the Colle System is pretty much academic to me. It might be the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it's not one I'm likely to employ or to spend the time learning even the memorable lines.
