Consider this: a master player  agrees to a hour interview with you and promises to answer any questions within the boundries of chess learning and his chess background. What do you ask ?

or Consider this: same scenario except instead of a hour long interview its a 15 question on. What should I ask ?

Why do people keep wanting to ask masters that question. The question; How many moves can/do you see ahead? It's annoying because there is no answer. It just depends on the position. Sometimes it's one or two, or in complicated positions about six or maybe even seven. Also when there are no forcing moves, it's virtually impossible to look even two moves ahead, so that's when instinct comes into it.

I know that because I watched a short inverview with one of the greatest chess players ever, and that's exactly what he said.

My question would be; How often do you study? I think that question would be great to ask a master. Also what part of do you study most of all? The start, middle or endgame?

I'm sure there are more questions I would ask a GM, but that's all that came to mind for now. I would love to play a GM to experience what it's like though

Every once in a while we see in the media an item about a nine year old beating all comers at chess, including chess masters. By logic we know it cannot be by opening knowledge since children of that tender age are not likely to have studied MCO nor is it by book knowledge for that matter since children do not generally read a lot of technical chess books.  So how do they do it?
