I'm not sure whether it's due to the difference in rating systems, or lack of good players, but ratings there are extremely inflated.
What do you think about ChessCube?

I played in chesscube exclusively before moving in here due to the exorbitant cubit prices. It was not like that before. Most freeloaders can manage. But now, unless you are a premium member or an extremely good player, you will soon find yourself begging for cubits. And so I left.

they are defintley inflated and do not show your true skill in the same way chess.com ratings are deflated compared to the FIDE ratings so its really your choice.

Ratings on chesscube are very inflated. Here I'm 2050-2180 bullet. On chesscube (where I only play bullet), my rating is 2450-2600 and my tournament rating is 2250-2400. (ICC is deflated in 1-minute; my ICC 1-minute rating is 1750-1950) I think chesscube ratings are inflated due to the rating floors, and I don't like the betting system. The interface is nice, though.
(my fide standard rating is 2017 and my fide rapid rating is 2037)

chesscube rating ARE inflated. I am about 1900-2000 there and here I am 1550-1600.
however, i like playchess a lot.

Chesscube sucks. The rating system there is a joke.It was designed to make players feel better about themselves.Their VIP is the crappiest piece of junk ever. The cubit system sucks too.The interface is also annoying.Probably the worst chess site ever.

it is a noob's site. the diametric opposite of ICC which is pretty crappy too for amateur players.
chess.com is somewhere in the middle.

I had a bad experience.
Paying to play chess online is nonsense. No wonder their ratings are super-inflated, their only chance is to massage people's ego.

I'm not sure whether it's due to the difference in rating systems, or lack of good players, but ratings there are extremely inflated.
It's just because they start higher.
It doesn't mean they are inflated though, nobody seems to know what that term means or how/for what purpose rating systems are designed.

It is easier to play bullet on chesscube.com The rating is not inflated in blitz games, it´s just not comparable to FIDE rating. The bullet however is somewhat inflated.

i think i have played you once on chesscube and lost badly...
No fide blitz?
Many people have the wrong idea here.
Chess cube gives out free cubits every day( atleast 25 a day so you can play 2 rated games a day by just logging in)
unrated games don't cost cubits and there are tournaments with free entry where you can win cubits.
It is an OK website but it doesn't have as many features an this one(like analysing engines and stuff).
But I am a fan of IM andrew martins Volume "how good is your chess" theat seems to be availabe exclusively there(correct me if i'm wrong).
1500 cubits per video .
P.S I am not a paying member.
Their forum is not as active though.
PS.We can earn money there by playing good chess.
I don't know why but after playing there I don't seem to like the fact that I only loose or gain ratings in large numbers(85-100).
Just because people start 300 points higher in chess cube doesn't mean the rating is inflated.Though there is a rating floor which means you can't loose more than 200 points below your your highest. This was supposed to prevent sandbagging.
ChessCube is very different from Chess.com. You need Cubits to play a game, But the Rating system is very different. What happens when you lose your first game on Chess.com? You lose 100 Points or so. But in ChessCube, you lose 20, somewhat near that. Anyway, what do you think?
