It's the symbol for Queenside castling. Castling would be legal even with a bishop attacking the line of squares the ROOK passes over in this move. But if the King were to pass over or onto a square under attack the castling move would be illegal. One's own King can't be placed under attack deliberately.
what does the simbole 0-0-0 mean as a move

i was folowing my book moves thru a game and it came to the 0-0-0 , this cant be kastling because a bishope was across the path so what does it mean
