A lot of FIDE events are played at 40 moves in 90 minutes and then 30 minutes till game end with a 30 second increment per move starting at move 1. I think the minimum time controls in USCF events are 30 moves in 30 minutes or slower.

Popular as in most games or as in most minutes played? I play more 5 minutes games but I play mainly 45/45 or 30 min games

For internet games, I'd guess either 3/0 or 5/0, both of which are very popular.
I haven't been playing much recently, so maybe 2/1 is becoming popular? I wouldn't know.
I changed my mind and now I always play 5 min games

Most of the USCF OTB tournaments I've played have been 90/30 (or 60/30) and 10/2 weekly club events. Online I tend to prefer 3/0 or 5/0, sometimes 10/0.
3|0 or 1|0 is the most popular.
